Ok, here goes nothing. Post number 2 on Project Love My Life.

I love……

My coffee mugs! I have a small obsession with them. These are from the Target College 08 collection. I have been looking for more of them for years with no luck. If one breaks, I will cry. I might even hold a funeral for it. I want like 500 of them so I am set for life. lol. They are the perfect size for me.

Crafting. I see something fun and I just have to attempt to recreate it. Sometimes it works out great and sometimes it’s a very sad ending. But I have bunch of stuff laying around that someday will make it to my etsy store. I haven’t shared that withe the world yet. I made this flower hair clip last night. I love it!

My lens critter. I’ve seen these on Etsy made out of scrunchies and have searched the world up and down for scrunchies. You can’t find them anywhere. So I set out to make my own scrunchie. Yea, that didn’t work out either. Instead I sewed some elastic to felt, put on some eyes and a tongue and voila, lens critter. I love him. He works on adults too! lol

I find lots of blogs through lots of other blogs by clicking random links. Sometimes I happen upon a really bogus one and vow to never come back to it again. But sometimes I find a jewel. A blog that makes my day and makes me smile! The other day I happened to come across Color Me Katie and instantly found myself glued to the screen. I couldn’t help but go through all of her posts. And then add it to my bookmarks bar. And hit refresh every 20 seconds to see if there were any new posts. She is one creative chick! I’m so inspired by her pictures that I decided to start my own little project.

You see, Katie post things she likes/loves (I’ll mention that I like/love a lot of the same things as she does) and it got me thinking. She is so free spirited and not afraid of anything. I am sort of the same way, only I am that way in hiding, in the comfort of my own home. Sometimes I feel like if I act silly or kid like around strangers, I might get the weirdo look. You know what look I am talking about. Katie’s blog made me realize that it doesn’t matter what others think. So I decided to start a little project to show all my lovely fans what I am all about, and to better love myself and my life. Don’t get me wrong, I do love myself and my life, I’m just a little shy sometimes. I am determined to break that shell and show myself to the world! WORLD I AM HERE! Today I will start to share pictures of things I love in my life that I may have gathered in the past week, month, or whenever. To let you all in on the secret life of me. I’ll try and post at least 3 times a week but I am not making any guarantees.  Are you all ready? I am….sort of. Remember, I am shy! But here it goes anyways.

I love……

My Family! Sometimes we act like super heros. Sometimes we act like a regular family. Image courtesy of Christine Watley Photography. I love her too!

Coffee…… specifically with Creme Brulee creamer. Yummy! Don’t talk to me before I have had my coffee.

Big people things made miniature for little people to use. Ok, so maybe it’s not made specifically for that but it works!

How no matter what, she is always this happy every morning.

And how when I am not looking she steals my slippers.

How was my first share? Did you enjoy it? Let me know below. And feel free to jump in on the project and do the same thing. Just make sure you share you blog with me so I can follow along too!

Photographer and Photographer | Charlotte, NC Photographer

I had to travel to Charlotte this past weekend for some personal reasons and decided while I was there I was going to squeeze in a few sessions. One being this awesome photographer whom I have been a fan of for a long time! I love getting to spend some time with other photographers and seeing how differently we work. Christine and her family are just gorgeous! Every one of them is stunning…..not to mention her husband has the most striking eyes I have ever seen! Christine owns Christine Watley Photography in Charlotte, NC. You need to check out her work. She is amazing! So amazing that I jumped for joy when I had the opportunity to have my family photographed by her! I’ll share those images soon.

We had a blast at Christine’s session and shared a lot of laughs and giggles. I’m sure Christine thought I was nuts by the end of the session when I decided I would play peek-a-boo with her kiddos behind a wall to get them laugh. Picture super hyper me popping up and down from behind a wall like a whack-a-mole game. Yup, that was me, only I had made some faces I didn’t even know I could make. Christine, hopefully you’ll still be my friend after that because you are one rad woman!

Now to share some of the shots I got. I’m happy, she’s happy, we’re all happy! :)

So peaceful | Charleston, SC Photographer

Had an amazing session with a gorgeous 3 week old girl! Oh how I miss the times when my babies were this tiny! I love the tiny fingers and toes. The cute random smiles when they are sleeping that make you wonder what they are dreaming about. The cry that is oh so quiet. The cute tiny little outfits. The way they explore the world and gaze at something that caught their eye. Boy time really does fly fast.

I was so excited about all the shots I got of this little tiny princess that I could not wait to get to editing. I had the chance to sit down last night and get some good old fashioned editing time in. Ok, maybe it was not old fashioned. Maybe I should say some good new modern and digital editing in.

So without keeping you waiting, I present to you little miss M!
